The 120th Anniversary Concert ‘Accendere’ – Illuminating our lives with music – held at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium on 18th July 2011 was a great success. Programmes included Piano Concerto in A Minor by Schumann, 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky, 太陽 by趙季平, American Dances – Part 1 by Alfred Reed and a mini-musical called “The Climb”. We were glad to have Ms. Jennie Leung, our former music teacher, as BOGA Choir Conductor and old girl Louise Kwong (Class 2006) as our vocal soloist in the choir performance.
We highly appreciate the support of Queen’s College, WanYan College Kowloon and Ying Wa College in the chorus. Our deepest gratitude also extends to all the old girls, guests and parents who showed their support by attending the concert, purchasing tickets and making generous donations to the BOGF Music Fund.
