2012 Mock Chief Executive Election
The 2012 Mock Chief Executive Election was held on 7 & 12 March 2012. 48% of students casted their vote in the Student Activity Centre, which served as the voting station that was staffed by Current Affairs Ambassadors-on-duty.
The Mock Chief Executive Election is organized by the Caritas and operated by the Liberal Studies Department’s Current Affairs Ambassadors Scheme. It is hoped that through experiencing how a vote is casted, students’ sense of civic responsibility would be cultivated, so that they will be ready for assuming the future role as voters when they grow up.
