Congratulations to our team participating in the 47th Joint School Science Exhibition! Not only did they capture the Champion of Proposal Competition in March, but they also won the Most Popular Booth and the Overall Champion!

This year’s theme of the exhibition is ‘Home: Household Redesigned, Science Redefined’. Four of our S4 students, Lo Tsz Yan (4B), Poon Suet Yi (4B), Woo Sin Tung (4B) and Wan Sze Yu (4B) designed their product, “Every Drop Counts” to save water by adding a few additional sensors, devices and a water tank to a water heater. The team estimated that the refitted water heater can save at least 3000 litres of water per household every year.

Our team thought that their scientific investigation could not be a success without numerous qualities. They are: daily observation, questioning, research skills, problem-solving skills and perseverance. Such rewarding experience not only enhanced their interest and dedication in science but also deepened their understanding in scientific investigation.
