The Intermediate Mixed Choir formed by members from our Senior Choir and the Intermediate Choir of Wah Yan College Kowloon won the championship in the Chinese Class (First Division) Contest in the 69thHong Kong Schools Music Festival. They were admitted into the Choir Finals on 21 March 2017 to showcase with other winners from different classes of competitions. The choir sang two pieces set with the poems by Xu Zhimo and Yu Kwang-chung respectively, with the latter one composed by one of the choir members. The performance was highly acclaimed by the audience. The recording of the Finals would be available at8pm on 7 May and 2 pm on 12 May on RTHK Radio 4.
