On 9th May, 18 girls participated in the International Understanding Trip held by the Interact Club. Due to the bad weather, the visit to the Kai Chi Centre was cancelled. We visited the University of Macau. We all had a better understanding of Macau after the visit as the professors briefly told us about the history, current situation and development of Macau. In the afternoon, we paid a visit to the Commissariado contra a Corrupcao (CCAC), an independent operated organization which has the same duty as the ICAC in Hong Kong. We know more about their operation and motto after the seminar. We were then taken to their simulated Video Interviewing Room and the Witness Room. It was an eye-opening experience. After that, we looked around in the Macao Water Supply Company. We were introduced to their history and operation system, meanwhile, we have learnt some water saving tips by playing some interactive mini games. Even though it does not have a lot of work labour, each operating step is conscientious and meticulous. Lastly, we went shopping in some well-known stores and we all purchased typical local food for our family and friends. Although the weather was not as good as we expected, we still enjoyed our trip by having visits to several places. We did gain more life experience and knowledge that we could not learn from textbooks. Thus, it is a trip that is worth going.
