A BPS delegation comprising 24 teachers, parents and students visited our sister school (蘆山縣初級中學)in Sichuan from 9 April to 13 April. They were entrusted with the important task of bringing along dictionaries and candies as gifts from our school. Students from both schools were paired up with one another, which built up friendship and facilitated mutual understanding.
Among the sightseeing and learning activities, students found the visit to the earthquake site most shocking and thought-provokiing. The mourning atmosphere, the debris of houses and the realization that there must be thousands of people buried right below your feet made your heart sink.
The night before we left, the spicy hotpot重慶火鍋 definitely brought a perfect finale to the 5-day trip.
