On 1st May 2012, which is the Labour holiday, a group of students from the UNICEF Club and the Service On Saturday went to the Hong Kong School of Motoring Shatin Road Safety Centre to participate ‘Belief in Zero’ which was held by the UNICEF HONG KONG. They worked as helpers in the activity. Before that, they joined a workshop about safety during cycling on 28th April to ensure they have basic knowledge of cycling. Students were divided into different groups and they had to cooperate with different coaches. Some of them had to lead the group and some of them were responsible for the checkpoints.
Cycling athlete Wong Kam Po shared full support to the activity. He came and taught children about the safety of cycling.
Although that day was hot, all of our helpers enjoyed it very much and gained a precious experience. WE BELIEVE IN ZERO, DO YOU?
