Three Visual Arts students of our school participated in the International Children Painting Competition in Hong Kong on 23rd February which was organized by POYAF (Promotion of Youth Artists Foundation). The semi-final on-site painting competition was held at the Peak and Dr York CHOW Yat-ngok, the Chairperson of
Equal Opportunities Commission delivered the welcome speech in the opening ceremony. More than 10 judges who are internationally recognized and experienced children art jurors from different countries have been invited to come to Hong Kong as members of the Judging Panel. One of our students of our school entered the final round and became the last 30 finalists of the competition. The finalists will be the representatives of the Hong Kong team to compete for the last round of the competition with talented young artists from different countries. The Final will be held in late August and the finalists may win the chance to join the overseas exchange program for 7 days.
