To strengthen students’ civic awareness and to enhance their willingness to serve the community, the Major Concern 3 Committee, English Language Department and the Community Services Committee have co-organised a programme titled “S.4 Fund-Raising Activity for Local Charities”.
Last year in December, all S.4 students had an enquiry study on different local charities. Following their presentations, each class chose to raise funds for a specific one.
On 10th March 2017 (Friday), the fund-raising activity was held in the hall. By the end of the day, the students successfully raised HK$13,069 for the following four local charities: the Banayan Services Association Limited, Against Child Abuse Limited, Hong Kong Angelman Syndrome Foundation Limited and Animal Friends Ltd. The whole activity was an inspiring and heartening one.
