A parent-kid bread-making workshop was jointly organised on a lighthearted Saturday morning by the Home Economics Club and the PTA. We were delighted to have Mrs Varelie Ho, our Chairperson of the PTA, who is devoted to baking, to teach us how to make the delicate Japanese Croissant(鹽可頌), also known as Shio Pan.
These savoury buns are definitely not the usual soft and sweet one that you often find in bakeries, yet are savoury with a slightly chewy texture and butter-rich filling and are best eaten warm and toasted. Let’s take a look at how these irresistible buns are made!
