Our School Symphonic Band is proudly celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Belilios Winds, established by the alumni of our school, organized an anniversary concert at Tsuen Wan Town Hall Auditorium. The School Symphonic Band and Choir performed with our old girls, together with our guest performers – Ms Nancy Loo (piano soloist), Ms Lau Wai (clarinet soloist, BPS alumna currently working as a bass clarinet player at Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra) and Queen’s College Choir. Moreover, the founder of BPS Band, Mr Michael Lai, returned as one of the conductors as well. After this concert, a stronger spirit and sisterhood were built in our school band. The interest and enjoyment in band music of our students were also nurtured.
