On the 7th of October, five representatives from the UNICEF Club participated in the soap-making workshop organized by the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF. This event is part of the “Soap for Good” Project in celebration of the Global Handwashing Day 2012. Participants were taught how to make their own soap out of the recycled hotel soap. The final products were nicely wrapped and given to the less privileged families in Hong Kong. Students also learnt the importance of cleanliness. Overall the workshop has given our students a meaningful and enjoyable experience.
