To enhance students’ understanding of national security and impress upon them their duties and responsibilities in safeguarding national security, the Education Bureau and our school arranged the visit to the National Security Exhibition Gallery at the Hong Kong Museum of History on 5 February 2025. Students learnt a lot from the visit.
2B LAU Angela found the display of different kinds of grain species like rice, wheat and soybeans very impressive to her. The research and development of the new grains was the result of the resolute efforts of Chinese scientists.
3P NG Tsz-yui said that national security serves as the cornerstone of a stable society in China. It is vital for maintaining sovereignty, territorial integrity and social stability.
5P CHENG Wing-yi said that students should keep abreast of international developments and news related to national security. They need to cultivate a critical mind to engage themselves in discussions and decision-making.
5H TONG Yuet-ki Serena said that apart from visiting the Gallery, students could learn more about national security on the National Security Education Day (15 April).
